Limping, bine growth front paw
Submitted by woodbully on July 31, 2013 - 9:42amI noticed my guy taking his time going down stairs lately, then started to limp when walking. I noticed he has a bony growth on his right front paw. It does not hurt him when I touch it. The vet wanted to try an anti-inflammatory 1st before X rays. has anyone seen this before?

How old is he?
Is it hard? I would probably have xrays done especially if it is hard. What does your vet think it is?
That looks like its on the wrist joint...
He's probably thinking a soft tissue or joint injury. Anti inflammatories may help. I would limit his activity so.
I thought joint as well
At 7.5 and if its not bothering him and no limping I would not be too concerned.
Hopefully the anti inflammatories will help.

I actually do think it his wrist joint as well. Not sure what could have done this. I though he could have fractured it, but he was never in any pain>? It does not bother him when I move it. The vet thinks it may be a cyst? He is 7.5 yrs old.
