I'm impressed. Sissy would have given it a try and then sat down and looked at me like I was stupid for not just putting the food in front of her lol. Btw, I watched your "down" video also and your pup does so well with commands! We got Sissy as an adult and I've taught her sit but oddly enough, I cannot seem to get her to learn down. You'd think that would be easy with an animal that spends the majority of her life in that position hehe.

Because of their short noses and the position of the nose. Kix is my only bulldog who will do a down. I've tried to teach the others but gave up after awhile.

it wasn't very hard to teach her. The neighborhood kids think it's the coolest thing in the world that Audrey lays down when they ask her to. Sometimes they get their hand signals mixed up and she gets confused, but she KNOWS that command.
:)
great Video :)

I think "down" is hard for bulldogs to learn

Kix loves to work and it makes training fun.
Audrey was a stubborn learner but she does it no problem

Kippah has that too
and she loves it, I was expecting her to use her paws to slide them..apparently I was expecting a bit much, she uses her nose primarily too.
And the thing is covered is slobber when she is done.
She wont do down, she CAN but wont
