So last night Kippah was wound up tighter than a Siamese climbing a curtain of catnip....but then again that seems to be her nightly routine lately.
She did her Nascar loops through the living room. She pulled the blankey off the couch, which Gabe was wrapped up in....thus throwing him onto the hardwood floor. Then she did some more Nascar loops trying to get him to recover from his fall and join her. She threw her tennis balls around the house, and then FINALLY started to settle down. She crawled up on the recliner with me and started to watch a movie. She watched ELF for a good 35 minutes before she jumped down.
Then she went over to the table where my purse sets. She stared at my purse for quite some time and then started barking. First I thought I must have had a treat bag in my purse of something (not uncommon) So I went over to check it out and I did not, BUT what I did have is 4 Bulldog Calenders sticking out of the purse (more like a large tote lol) I took the calenders out and she followed them to the desk and barked there.
SO I opened one and we went page by page and she would look at the pics, turn her head sideways and sometimes bark, all the time with her little butt wiggling back and forth.
Did she know what they were while inside my purse, well no, probably not. She just knew something was different and she did not like it. But I am convinced she did know what they were once she saw them!

I love the zoomies, don't get
I love the zoomies, don't get them a lot now the boys are older, but they play and wrestle a couple times a day and get their kinks out that way.
When I hung my new calender, it was the first thing Brother noticed.

Mean people still suck
Gizmo's neck is broken looking at all the 'new' things
Poor Girl's head is spinning like the Exorcist movie ! she HATES new things, new things, ya know... like the Christmas Tree - oh and any box we bring in, and they christmas lights outside, and the boxes we bring in, and oh did I mention the BOXES we bring in?
.
We have found her weakness. Metal Bowls - when there are 2 together, they tend to make a racket ! and she HATES that, I should say she is scared of them. So to keep her from messing with the Christmas Tree... 2 metal Bowls are placed down in front of the tree, she wont get within 10 feet of it :) (which is a good thing, because she had this phase where she wanted to chew wires, and it only took single CHOMP and out went the Lamp.
.
Now the Zoomies - I need to Video her's, ya see... she'll be out in the yard doing her business, and once she has 'downloaded' she then kicks in the afterburners ! *ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOM* *ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM* its almost like she is shot outta a cannon ! and its not, 'every now and again' its EVERYTIME -
Dottie will hear her running up and down the stairs 'She #2'd I guess'
Rick 'Yea, how'd ya figure it out? LOL'

So good to hear
That it is not just my spastic bully that does this. I could have written this word for word about Jax's nightly "fun". Ozzy (the 3 year old) gives up and goes to his room (the spare bedroom) to hide between the bed and the wall.
Jax goes in to have his knee surgery Thursday then he is down for the winter, so I am trying to enjoy his zoomies while I can. Last night he was running so fast that he could not get traction on the kitchen floor--so he looked like a cartoon--legs moving frantically and he was not moving.
Lyn
Jax also has the Kitchen floor spins too eh?
So does Gizmo - to the point we laugh so hard we are tearing up. (Especially if the metal bowls are involved) LOL

What is it with them and new things
We don't do a tree (cats and we are not home Christmas day) but we do other decorations--Jax just barked at them for an hour, then he wanted to attack them (I had to stray them with bitter apple)Ozzy just looked at him like he was crazy, but Ozzy will bark at all power tools.

Boss Man's Wild Man Episodes
Boss does that too... he will run "NASCAR" figure-eights around our dinning room table, behind the couch and back.... then he will jump on the couch and grab the blankets... also, if we leave our jackets on the backs of dinning tables chairs or leave a sleeve hanging off the table/counter he is all over it! He is a crazy man!!! Glad to know he isn't the only crazy one! :)
