Joanne's Bulldog Reuben is in the hospital.

Reuben is 5. He had his elongated palate trimmed. He was also neutered ata the same time. The veterinarian also discovered a Hypoplastic Trachea (narrow trachea) by x-ray.

This Thursday when Reuben was home, his sutures frim the Palate surgery came out on their own. Reuben's body turned blue, and he was close to death. The veterinarian's staff rushed to the house, and transported Reuben to the hospital. Reuben is still alive todayand in stabile condition at the hospital in Pennsylvania.

Joanne's experienced veterinarian HAS NEVER had the sutures come out on their own after this palate surgery. Has anyone here had this happen to their dog?

Reuben also has separation anxiety.

Oh man, come on Reuben ! ! ! Hang tough!

Wow I just had Bean's done 2 days ago, along with cherry eye, nostrils and the other thing trimmed by his trachea ( forgot the name of it). I hope this doesn't happen to him. After he was neutered, his stitches became infected because his body was rejecting them, which I thought about with this. I hope this doesn't happen.
