Well we scheduled Jax's surgery for next Thursday (the 15th). It was worse and better than originally thought. It is a grade 3 luxating patella but the variance of the femur to the tibia is only 11 degrees (the surgeon said that they usually correct the femur if it is over 10 degrees, but he likes to use 15 degrees as a base) so he is going in planning on correcting it at the tibia unless the femur looks bad.
Joe will drop him off Thursday morning and he will come home on Saturday. So this weekend is a weekend of Jax fun before he is down for the winter.
I will be a wreck Thursday until I get the call that he is awake and things went well.
I am so glad we have Tuft so close by in cases like this.
