Jax's knee check up
Submitted by blondiek237 on February 2, 2012 - 2:11pmJax got good news at Tufts yesterday. His patella surgery is healing nicely. He can start to get exercise again (yeah). He can go for a short walk and he does not have to be attached to us if he is out of his crate. The surgeon said that it is healed and he cannot break anything but he is out of shape from is 2 months of no activity so we will go slow. Ozzy and Jax can interact but no wrestling for another month. They can play with a toy together as long as there is no ruff stuff.

yay,! thats soo good to hear he is healing well :). that must be hard to keep him calm all the time.. At least hell be able to go for little baby walks :).. prayin for a good fast recovery :)

He has been remarkably good
We thought he would be a nightmare, but instead he has been really good--he likes his crate and has been ok being attached to someone all the time. The only issue we had was when Ozzy went to investigate the toys in the crate, then Jax gets mad.

Still a fews weeks
Until the can wrestle but things are looking up. I think jax understood when the vet said he could play again--he was off the wall last night, trying to make up for 7 weeks of captivity in one night.
