I can tell he definitely keeps you on your toes! :) It's nice to see that everything has healed from his hot water incident this summer. Have you managed to stop him from trying to "get" the pots when they're on the stove?

But no--He does need knee surgery (which he will get in January) so he has been quietier lately but he is still a terror. But I wouldn't change a thing about him. He is soo sweet. I just want his surgery over with so he can heal and be back to his crazy self.

well once he's back to feeling 100% healthy and back to his usual antics maybe he'll have "out grown" his obession with pots on the stove. We can only hope! :)

Gizmo doesnt like alot of noise - so a few metal mixing bowls sitting near by, she reaches up...the bowls are on the edge ... tip... Crash Bang Boom !
*wheels spinning* she can't get out of the kitchen quick enough -
Now the Grandson - as a toddler, he kept reach up for pots bowls etc. put about 1 inch of room temperature water, in one of the (again metal) bowl, he reached up, pulled down... and got a face full of water, he never did it again.

All we have to do is open the drawer at the bottom of the stove and move the pans and he comes running with the intent to attack. He is a strange boy. Ozzy just watches him with this look like--dude what are you doing??

Dinner is ready, I'm putting the food on the table (we have a high table in the kitchen) just sit down to eat, and Gizmo goes 'Attack Bark Mode' on the OVEN - if we used it or not. When we are done with dinner, she is done barking at the oven. Most dogs would be underfoot waiting for 'something' to fall. Not Gizmo, she's gotta protect Mommy and Daddy from that mean old food baring device! LOL
