The surgery went well--the tibia was twisted so he had to break(better that then the femer) and tighten up the tenons. He is resting comforably and they will call tomorrow morning with an update.

I was going to go see him tomorrow night--but then I am afraid he will wonder why he isn't leaving with us (not like with a human patient and you can explain) so we may not. We will ask tomorrow when they call with the update.

I think seeing him, but not taking him home would upset him a lot. I'm glad it's only until Saturday...I'm sure he'll be well loved on by all the staff during his time there. But I'm also sure he'll be ready to be home with everyone (even his brother Ozzy will be happy to see him)! :)
Yay!
That's great! It's good that all this is happening in the winter. Won't be as hard to control his activity as it would have been in nice weather.
That's the plan
We figured he wouldn;t all that active over the winter and once the nice weather comes--he will be ready to go. Now I just want him home.

so glad he is awake and comfortable!
Once he's all healed up he'll feel so much better. When does the patient get to come home (or when do you get to go visit him)??

I'll feel better
When I can give him a big hug and put him in his own bed. The house is going to seem so weird tonight without him.
Some good news - FANTASTIC !
I needed a smile :) TY TY TY
