tony hated us for a good month
it was awful. he just sat in the corner and growled at james and wouldnt even look at us-- and he was always a very good natured boy. then one day i came home early from work and watched as out of the blue, tony started playing with james, just kinda running around him and poking him and stuff. they started playing and have not stopped since.
i think puppies are like kids. they can be very annoying to adults. but they never fought and are bffs now, despite an 8+year difference. the only down side is that tony rediscovered a bunch of negative behaviors, like chewing on things arround this house. but he is happier and more active than when he was alone all day!

She's a cutie! Polly Anna will be fine. Don't try to push the two of them together and they will work things out between them. It usually takes mine a few weeks to accept a new puppy.
But, the look on Morgan's face was priceless when I brought Kix home. She looked at Kix and then turned around and looked at me like "Mom, what did you do?"
LOL
My miniature pinscher Penny gave me some serious "WHAT THE HECK DID YOU DO!!" looks when I brought PollyAnna home.....now its payback....PollyAnna's turn! LOL

Love the name, too. Olive was my Grandma's name...she passed away a few years ago at 94 and today would have been her Birthday!
