It used to be, when my kids were little (15 yrs ago) I was ALWAYS prepared for anything. My trunk always had a change of clothing, extra coat, extra blanket--for each. And my purse, well, lets just say the LUGGAGE always had things I just might need.
Those times have passed, I downsized my purse--a little. If the kids don't wear a coat they go cold, and if they get hungry while we are out I remind them that they will not die from starvation anytime soon.
Or have they passed????? My daughter just dropped in needing bus money (HS is right around the corner from my office) So I grab my huge purse, THUMP it goes as it lands on my desk and I look for quarters........but what do I find?
A pouch of training treats
A baggie with home made pumpkin bisquits
A container of wipes (travel size...I'm not completely nuts!)
A spare leash
And a spare harness (just in case she needs a wardrobe color change in an emergency situation)
A list of names and phone numbers from her classmates (never want to lose contact after graduation)
A Kippah T shirt
And of course the emergency kit (benadryl etc)
I wonder why my back has been hurting so much lately! FULL CIRCLE, aside from diapers I had pretty much everything I needed back then!

OMG that's me too
That's me too and I didn't even know it! It just happened when I wasn't looking. Every jacket pocket has a poop bag, my purse has more stuff in it for my bulldog than for me and I didn't even realize it until I read your note. Now I'm depressed!!!! LOL
Life of a bulldog owner.
I'm a horrible daddy. . I dont lug any of that around!
A couple of treats in a ziploc bag for when we go out, on her Leash is a handle little 'bone' with baggies for when she does her business else where - ahhh and that is about it ! LOL
