go to his grave site and talk to him without falling apart. I just talk to him like I always did, rub the dirt where I know his head is and it gives me a little peace.

Thank you very much to everyone again for your prayers and thoughts; it has been a big help in getting through this.

or at least that is how it has been with me. Lola passed 7 months ago and I miss her everyday. Everyone on this board understands what you are going thru and that is a good thing.

It is one day at a time. One more smile will creep out, one less tear will slip out. Those good memories will overcome the grief, and the hurt will eventually fade enough that you can smile fondly at the memories you hold in your heart.

I just started crying not our boy Zapper. My prayers are with you. I believe they never leave your side. I know it's hard I lost my rescue Bulldog last year when haveing his eye remove. I keep him on my dresser so he is still close to me. But I miss him every day. I know this is hard for you. Zapper is like Loulou always right by your side. I wish they could live forever. Zapper want's to see you happy. My heart goes out to you and your family. We will never forget Zapper here on BDW He is one of the best. Keep posting his pictures because we all need to see him. again I am so sorry.
