So as you all may know I picked up my 7 month old bullie last week. And with being new to the breed and everything I didn’t know what to think. He is not my first pet or anything but he acted in ways that I was not used to. I was worried about the level of shyness he presented and also I have never had to deal with a dog that had submissive peeing issues. Anyway I am glad to report this dog is already become MY BEST FRIEND. He is warmed up to me so much I cant go anywhere without him being right under my foot. He loves affection and is getting better by the day about walking on a leash. I mean huge steps everyday! He still “piddles” around strangers that are near him. And is still kind of anxious to walk around people in passing and stuff. But as far as submissive peeing for me… OVER! I am in a WOW mind state! I am so pleased with this breed and in love with my new dog that I want another one!!! Lol No but really I do! I have yet to bring him home yet to the family due to the fact that I am in school at the moment (Military). And I know he will need his time with them also but I cant wait till they see this side of him. I owned a boxer before him that I had to give up. But I just know “Galahad” is going to be a perfect fit for my family.
Glad you're making progress.
Glad you're making progress. It doesn't take long for them to become beloved!
Glad that things are going well
be patient, he has to learn as much about you as you have to learn about him. When I adopt a dog, I give it 6 months. That's when I feel that I have exposed the dog to just about everything that they will experience in life with me.
Good luck

You will be best friends forever
It takes time to train a pup, but it is SO worth it. I know you and Galahad will have a lifetime of happiness.
