And then, we swap stories for a while and "catch up". He says it takes the chill off while he's airborne and blasting through the freezing night air. So, he may be a little bit late getting to your house this year because of his annual "coffee break". He only gets one, you know, so I try to make it really count for him. And after he loads up (not with gifts), he uses his Garmin to help navigate the rest of the way. The Cap'n and I know we've done a good job keeping Old Santa in his usual good spirits. That's why he says, "Ho, ho, ho!". Bet you didn't know that! And it helps him deal with all the kids that have been naughty this year because even though they get coal in their stocking, he gets on a guilt trip about it. Hence, you get a "Jolly Old Saint Nick". And after all that, The Cap'n and I go listen to our favorite Christmas carol, "The Little Rummer Boy". We especially like the part that goes "Pa-rum-rum-rum-rum". Hey, I try to do what I can, ya know?
