Ernie has set a new record last night of about 3 minutes lol... we brought him home a new toy stuffed monkey and he either loved it or hated it cause it was in two pieces within 3 minutes lol

Within a few days we see the first wounds start to appear....but if their the so-called "tough" stuffies, they can last a while after that, as long as we keep an eye on her with them. She's definitely pretty rough on them, though...she likes to chew and chew and chew and then PULL and the chewed spot until it rips open.

If it has a squeaker it is pretty much destined to die within a couple minutes. Without a squeaker it has a slightly longer life expectancy. :) We just don't have soft, squishy toys anymore for that reason.
However, Winston is OBSESSED with the squeaky Kong tennis balls. If you can withstand the squeaks they can withstand the chewing...he's worn out the squeaker in one of them, but it's still his favorite ball. Go figure. I guess I would compare Winston with the squeaky tennis ball to Viper and his JollyBall (not quite to that level, but very close). :)

Fergie tends to go full force with everything you put in her way, especially a stuffed toy. She's chewed some up in less than 10 minutes before. I think maybe it's the squeaker....they just have to get that thing out!!

I don't even bother with those cute little stufffed toys - Zimmer destroys them in minutes, then tries to get the darn squeaker out or some piece of something. I stick to nylabones!
Moments flat and they are gone, so we only do the 'hard' toys now.... We've never done a squeeker, just cause the wife and I would be jumping off the bridge w/ that noise all day long :)

I try to buy the sturdier toys. I found a nylon toy at a little feed store in Prescott that they have been chewing on for a few days and it's still in one piece. I also like the deer antlers for chewing.

It hasn't been economical to buy stuffed animals since Fatboy was 9 months old.
Fatboy aka Stinky :)
Rocco is a toy killer
might as well call his mouth the jaws of life...he can tear apart anything in a matter of no time
"Rocco has a spastic wiggle...probally why is nickname is Milkshake"
Years!
Zorro is such a softie with his toys. He is 3,5 years old now, and still has stuffed toys from his puppy days.
A pink elefant, a wild pig named Hein and some other - plastic toys, the peeps still work!
He suckels on them, carries them around the house, sleeps with his head on them, so I put them in washingmachine every now and then.
He is such a lovely guy!!
