Hives flaring up with in seconds of walking outside

Lola has had a couple of random allergic reactions to things we never end up figuring why.. Yesterday she went outside around 6am to potty, she went pretty far past her normal area into some taller grass/weeds.. came inside I went to work and my wife say she noticed some red rash cricles on her stomach.. fast forward 12noon she goes out and then hives flare up.. wife treats with Benadrily.. I come home at 430 and she runs out to meet me, goes inside and hives flar up big time.. around her paws, thighs back etc.. treat with Benadril and start the painstaking process of what is new. sheets no, detergent no.. food no..  only thing was thre was a dead toad in the driveway she sniffed once or twice that day.. So from 4-9am the hives are almost gone.. take her out to a small area, toad gone and within seconds I mean before she got down the steps hives flare up.. she was in one remote area and before her feet hit the grass it started.. back inside.. went to bed and around 130am she went out, took her out back door on white gravel and before she hit the grass hives flared up.. its like the air outside is doing something.. its been a cool day and windows are all open.. I am at a loss on how quick they flare up when shes outside..  only thing I can see if maybe she got too close to the dead toad before I was able to throw it in the woods.. other than that I live in the mountains so no one sprays my yard.. no fleas.. nothing diffrent.. URG.. so hard to figure out

How old is Lola

is this her first fall season?  It sounds like it is an airborn allergy.

I feel your frustration...

I've been dealing with hives for a month now.  I drove myself crazy trying to figure out what is causing it-detergent, cleaners, food, treat, toys, etc.  I finally thought it may be pollen or flea medicine.  Her flea medicine was applied over 30 days ago and she is still getting a few hives every day so now ruling that out. I think hers is airborne too.  This is her second late summer/early fall season and I know it takes a couple exposures to show signs of allergies so I think it is just the environment.  I wipe her down after every walk now, so maybe try that to see if it helps.
