Hi, we're new!

Hello! I'm Alison, and I have a 1.5 year old bully named Otis. He found his way to us almost exactly a year ago, just a few weeks after we lost our little girl bully to kidney failure. We weren't looking for another dog, but we were forwarded an email from a friend who had heard about a poor little 7 month old bully baby, who had unexpectedly lost his human dad... The family that came into town to take care of the dad's affairs didn't know what to do with him, and said that if no one came to get him by the end of the week he was going to the pound! Most people say he's lucky to be with us, but I think it's the other way around. :) We are lucky in that other than some allergy issues, he's been very healthy. He's actually quite athletic, which sometimes poses a little bit of a problem because we are in Tampa, FL, and it is usually pretty hot here. I've lurked here off and on for a long time, so it's nice to finally be on!

Otis is beautiful!! That'a an amazing story. I always say that Fergie found us, too, so I completely understand where you're coming from there! I can't wait to see more pics and hear more stories about your new little guy!
