*****HELP POTTY TRAINING*********

Lily, a 7 month old victorian bulldog, will not stop peeing and pooping in her crate. To top it off she eats it. We of course let her out before we leave and she does her business, but we always come home to something even if we are gone for 30 minutes or 8 hours for work. She knows that outside is the ideal place for her to go and I praise her when she does go like a crazy person. I just really don't know what to do at this point. We have a cavalier king charles spaniel and she was so easy to train and we are doing the same thing we did with her with Lily. I know all dogs are different I just really dont know what to do at this point. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

have you taken her to the vet recently?
You might check to make sure she does not have anything going on medically (such as a UTI or a bug in her intestinal track or something else similar). As for eating poop, if you mix in some pineapple with her food (just about a Tablespoon of crushed pineapple) it will make the poop less "appetizing" for her.
Also, do you have her on a regular schedule of when she eats, potties, plays, sleeps? Like babies, schedules help puppies a lot.
I'm sure others will have some other ideas or tips...but I hope these help.

Have her checked at the vet.....
eating poop can be a sign of a vitamin deficiency.

Thank you for your response. I made an appointment today with the vet. I was also thinking that she could possibly have a uti or some underlying problen. I will let you guys know what the vet says!

Thank you again for your responses. The vet said that Lily is ok medically, she thinks it a behavioral issue that she will grow out of. She's not getting any bigger so they are saying she is a mini. I didn't think there were mini bulldogs I'm just going with runt.
