Well, I got up early this morning for my and Raleigh's early morning walk, and she was full of energy and we went for a nice, long walk. Afterwards, I went out for a drive (with my family). When we got back three hours later, Raleigh was not her normal self. She was very tired and slept the day away. Her nose was also running and bleeding and she looked lethargic. The runny nose isn't so much what concerns me; it is mostly the fact that it is bleeding? Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

ay....poor thing-no experience here sweetie but better safe than sorry take her to the vet
my archie would get lethargic at the odd time but never nose bleed, but doesn't necessarily
mean that it's anything bad...just like in humans it's quite healthy...pressure is relieved
pls keep us posted
Well...
Well...she is feeling a bit better (I think) and is acting more like her normal self, but we're still going to the vet tomorrow to get the nose checked out. I certainly will keep everyone posted and thanks for your help.

Poor baby
I have no experience with bleeding noses. I'm sure I would be calling the vet already. But I'm paranoid when it comes to him (not so much with myself).
How hot was it today? We don't have a choice but to walk Chef a half block to go to the bathroom. (live in an apartment with no grass around. I find if it's really hot out just the short walk will tire him out and he will sleep for a long time.

We try to take an early morning walk...
We try to take an early morning walk so that its not too hot for her; it was about 65 this morning, so it was warm but not hot... and she's gone on walks in hotter temps and not been this tired. And we're definitely going to see her vet tomorrow morning. Thanks.

yes a vet visit and a chest x ray
blood from the nose can come from a undetected heart problem...or fluid in the lungs.....i would have a chest xray done....to see if the heart is enlarged or the lungs have any fluid....hopefully it turns out to be nothing
I just read and it said should check with vet anyway but
could also be allergies and be caused from alot of sneezing. Never know better safe than sorry.
I say trip to the vet...
don't take any chances! Please give us an update.

Good news!
Well, we went to the vet this morning to get her checked and they did all of the necessary tests and x-rays to try to determine if it was something serious which was causing her nose to bleed or just a reaction to her sneezing. Basically, they determined that her nose was irritated by her constant sneezing, and that is what caused to bleed. She just has a little cold; nothing more, nothing less.
