Hello! An Introduction...

Hello Everyone!

My name is Angela. I'm new to the Bulldogs World and the forums and thought I should introduce myself and my boys. I have two boys, Julio and Cesar. They are both 8 years old and tubby little sweethearts. Julio (to the left of Daddy) has been fighting cutaneous lymphoma (on his anal area) for 16 months now. He has been through a lot but he is a tough little guy. Cesar is happy and healthy and enjoys napping and eating. :)

Julio and Cesar were born in Spain but are "Navy Brats" and have crossed the United States more than once. They're seasoned travellers and enjoy playing road games like "stink bottom" where they force us to drive with the windows down. They also enjoy napping, resting and relaxing.

I look forward to meeting you all, seeing photos of your bullies, and picking your brains on a couple of issues Julio is dealing with right now.

Are you back in the US or still overseas? Your dogs are beautiful. I'm curious, though. How did you get your dogs across the ocean? Did you get special transport? Was it by air or ship? They look none the worse for wear.

Hi! We have been back in the States for a few years. The Navy flew us all back on a military chartered flight and were absolutely wonderful. A group of sweet Marines waiting for their flight carried my boys in their travel crates to the loading area, the pilots came by to ohh and ahh over them and I was allowed to sit with them in the restricted loading area until it was time to put them on the plane. When we arrived in Virginia, they were the first ones off the flight and were waiting for us in the air terminal. From there we drove cross-country to our new duty station because the civilian airline didn't have room for them. It was worth it, tho. The boys had a great time seeing the US for the first time. And now, we are back on the East Coast, in Washington, DC. :)
