Health update, Kippah and me

Kippah is doing much better, seems to be no UTI issue symptoms right now.  She is still on her antibiotics of course, and she has it ALL figured out.  She watched my female Boston getting her medication so often that Kippah refused to just take her medicine without a bribe.  Now, just like her big sissy, she gets cheese wrapped around the pill...little manipulator!

They dont seem to be having an issue with the apple cider vinegar in the waterbowl, ONLY as long as they dont watch us put it in....little rat finks!

And their favorite new thing is yogurt in the morning and night....I had to break it to them that as soon as Kippah was cleared up this was not a 2x occurance, maybe even every other day........Kippah complained, the others are just thankful that they always get the same treatment as she does, that yougurt is yummy!

As for me, the doctor finally scheduled my PET scan, but not for another 2 weeks.  And I was able to talk to him yesterday about what he is thinking....he thinks there might be some cell growth behind my lungs, he is just not sure.  Or I could have a herniated disk that instead of blowing out to the side, has blown to the 'inside' and caused some serious scar tissue growth........I will go for the scar tissue, I have no time in my life for cancer again.  NOT gunna happen.  So now I just sit and wait, and I envision a blown disk..and ONLY a blown disk.

SO, for this household we are doing GOOD, one day at a time!  And headed out for a girls weekend in two day!  YEE HAW

Progress on all counts

Nope, we will not hear of any cancer.  You hear that?!  Scar tissue sounds like a good option (or at least the better of two evils).

Glad to hear the master manipulator is in full form, lol!

Blown Disk - Kippah heading for 50+ lbs !

oh fun fun fun fun :)

Glad that Kippah is doing better!

And I've been away for a while so I'm a bit behind, but I will catch up on sending out good thoughts and prayers for you.  Two weeks seems like a long time to be waiting...but I'm sure Kippah and the rest of the crew will keep you distracted and on your toes in the mean time. :)

that's right missy scar

that's right missy scar tissue is exactly what it is!!!

a few years ago my mom had such bad pneumonia/bronchitis that

the infection was so bad the coughing fits scarred her lungs...of course

before the drs. finally figured that out on her first xray what they saw was there

was something that looked like a mass...and those were the ONLY 2 words

that stuck out...long story short she was quickly referred to a lung specialist

and 4 yrs later although she's followed up on every 6 months just in case

it might have been something else...

i'm happy to say it was determined that the mass turned out be scarring...

so stop thinking the worst and enjoy your girls weekend!!!
