The homeopathic kind that you can pick up at Petco or Pets Mart? We are moving in a few months and Dread gets upset and a little aggressive when he is stressed, and I was wondering if there was any reviews or experiences with these products. It is a BIG move and will require him to be in his crate, which he usually doesn't mind, for an extended amount of time. I was hoping to find something that would could "take the edge off", ya know? Kinda like a shot of tequila for pups. ;-) The shot of tequila I will save for me.

Not recommended
for bulldogs. I would discuss this more indepth with your vet.
If you decide to try an over the counter product I would try it at home several times before the move. You might want to give Rescue Remedy a try.
Let me add
that being over stressed is also not good. If he has anxiety and starts panting and breathing hard then that can be of major concern. I have had my vet give me meds for an anxious dog after surgery so he would say quiet, kind of dopey, so he would sleep.
Have you looked into those Thunder Shirts?
I have no personal experience because Stella was cool as a cuke, but I've heard good things about their calming effects. And no drugs involved!

My friend has had very good luck with it
and my aunt is a vet tech and says she's gotten a lot of good feed back. Good suggestion Celine!
Well thank you :)

I think I would
Really do that Deb and Celine say. I heard great things about the thunder shirt and rescue remedy . Me I just don't like drugs any kind if I don't have to use them with my baby
Karonelaine
Cool, I'll check out the thunder shirt.
I was actually looking at the pheremone stuff you can spray on bedding, etc... before a trip. I wouldn't give Dread any sort of drug before a long trip. It would scare me too much.
