UC Davis called and gave us the best Valentine gift we could hope for....Chester pathology came cancer free!!!!
His growth was benign, after two positive for cancer biopsies and absolutely horrific colonoscopy (I saw video, it was not pretty sight).  So that means we managed to take out sick part of colon but there was no cancer.  They said there is still gastrointestinal disease there causing all that circus, but no cancer is the best news, it happens in less 1% and my monkey man beat the odds.  They said they could not be happier as they fell in love with my boy.
He still is at risk with recovery, but the chances are so much better with no cancer cells around and clean tissue.  I am just beyond myself, when my husband called me with good news I just could not believe it. 
UC Davis wants us to be talking to gastrointestinal doctor, do regular checkups so that the disease or whatever it was does not come back.  I was worried so much we may have gotten him only few months, but now I hope we got him years :-)
We are still praying for his recovery in this critical period but today Chester will get the biggest hug :-)
My belief is that the prayers of this board have been answered.  This is the most powerful thing I have ever seen.
