Happy Gotcha Day, Beatrix!

In some ways I can't believe it's been two years already...and at the same time, I can't believe it's been almost two years. If that makes any sense. It's like the two years have flown by, and yet it simultaneously feels like she's always been a part of our lives. I can't imagine our lives without her now.
Here Beatrix is two years ago today, weighing in at 2.5 pounds and with weird giant bat-ears like she was a Frenchie:
And here she is now, impeding my ability to work efficiently:

It only took a few weeks for
It only took a few weeks for her ears to rose properly, but we did wonder what was up with them at the beginning. And people definitely mistook her for a Frenchie those first few weeks, too.
And I have to say, as much as she can sometimes get in the way here, I love being able to bring me with her. I think I'm as spoiled as she is.
