Hey Everyone--sorry we've been AWOL--life is just too busy and it seems I usually connect with most folks via FB now. I've also been reworking Gabe's website, so most of his news will be coming through that once we get his newsletter sign-up working (very close)

Anyway, we had a blast this week in NY, even though it was a pretty quick trip across the country and back. Gabe certainly seemed to steal the show and they used his clip as a "teaser" just before the show aired, again at the commercial break, then another time during the closing credits :) Someone told me they aired it yet again on last night's show! (guess he did make an impression!) We didn't get to spend any extra time with Dave--other than the few minutes on stage--but as we headed out the stage door after the taping (the show is a "live taped show" that tapes in the late afternoon, they "clean it up" a bit, then it airs that evening)...anyway many of the staff were fawning over Gabe and as we headed out the back door, I heard someone yell out, "Good-bye Gabe!" and turned to see that it was Letterman himself! :)

We returned home 12:30 am on Friday, then had an agility trial today. I debated going since we were still recuping from our trip, but decided to do it anyway--and Gabe ended up with a perfect run in his Open Standard class to earn a 1st place and his Open Agility Preferred title!

Tomorrow is my old gal, Chubbs' 10th bday...still hanging in there but definitely showing her age! We're just treasuring each day we have with her!
