Feeding

This is my first liter. Baby bullies are now 4 weeks old. Mom is not feeding unless we make her. The babies are just over 6 lbs. Is this okay? I am feeding goats milk with rice cereal. They love it. I am going to start grinding puppie food and adding it as well. Just concerened that mom has no desire to feed anymore. Thanks in advance

A friend to us lets her pups nurse as long as possible, that is as long as she [the bitch] will allow them to.
She also gives them something she calls gruel which I have no idea about.
She has some fine dogs and she's on FB, just seeing her pics is nice. As is she. She has pups now and I'm sure she would answer any questions you have, as her time would allow.
