eye surgery Pics!!

worst day ever.... lu lu had surgery today... they did her eyes and dental and pulled "ALOT" of teeth.. the poor thing had blood coming out of her nose and mouth! it made me cry.. its breaking my heart. Shes only been with us 3 weeks. We rescued and now this! They sent us to "their" vet and paid for everything.. so i am grateful.. but is it wrong to be not happy with the dr??? i just hope she hangs in there.... shes 7 but has great spirit! i cooked her "mooshy" dinner tonight and hand fed her... she seems to be doing ok with that.. please keep your fingers... and paws crossed... its gonna be a pitifull week..i'll keep pics coming of recovery... like i said today is day one.. hopefully the worst.. any advice from any bully's who had eyelid surgery???/

She's a tough one :) maybe needs alot of Vet help...but keep the love flowing and she'll be just fine ! ! ! !

Keep your chin up. Be proud of her and proud of yourself for being there for her. She'll heal fast. I know she feels your love and affection. :)

No experience with eyelid surgery
But there are plenty of people on here with that experience and I'm sure you will be hearing from them.
LuLu will be fine -- she knows you love her and that is more healing than anything. I would continue with some softer foods, maybe some steamed rice and boiled chicken or boiled ground beef. Eggs are good, lots of protein and I don't know a dog who doesn't love them. We scramble them for Maude and Gus. I'm sure you will get lots of other advice on food.
Please give your girl a big hug from us and give yourself a giant WELL DONE for taking care of her so well.

Did the vet give her a cone to help protect her eyes from rubbing while they heal? I know you need to be really vigilent when it comes to protecting the eyes so she doesn't end up hurting them even more.
I'm glad she's home and with you now. How's she doing today?

I wanted to cry too just looking at her. give her a kiss for me . she was heaven sent to you. I know it looks bad but she will recover with all the love you have for her. please keep us up dated . and soon she will be beautiful. this had to be done to make her well. Bad teeth with any dog can shorten their life. so sad the people who had her before you let her get this bad. but at least she has you. will be praying for the both of you. stay stong even if it does kill you everytime you see her. soon she will be looking good.
