Submitted by nicoleandherbabes on December 29, 2011 - 10:55amSo we got Dozer a jolly ball for christmas ( since it seemed to be such a hit with the other bulies) WELL... xmas morning when we gave it to him, at first he was like " UMMMM what do i do wuth this".. he started to kick it around a little and started getting really excited with it.. he got SOOOOOOO excited with it that he kicked it into the christmas tree, and figured hed get it out himself and JUMPED into the tree and knocked it over!!.. Me and Richy were laughing soooooooooooo hard that i couldnt even move!. I wish i would have gotten my camera but like i siad we were lauging so hard i was rolling on the floor!!! hahahahahahaa... Sine then he just hasnt done anything else but play with the jolly ball!. I have to take it away from him just so he can eat, cause he wont even eat hahahaha... But of corase its good for mommy cause it tires him out!!! hahahahahahaha..

k this story has gotten me interested. I've seen alot of post about the jolly products but when in story I don't get the hype. It just looks like a medium size basketball. So what about it do the bullies love? How do they play with it?
Sounds like we need to get one for Bean but will probably wait till after we take the tree down first :)

The jolly ball style that Kippah loves is the one with holes in it and a ball inside a ball. With the holes she can easily pick it up and she throws it all over the house, we have old hardwood floors and BOY is it loud, but she loves it. She got three sizes and of course she went strait for the bigggest...cuz thats how she rolls!

Okay - I surrender too. I just ordered 2 jolly teaser balls today - ya'll are making me feel like i'm being a bad bullie momma since Vern doesn't own any of these yet. He shall be left out no more!

The ball inside a ball is the 'Teaser Ball'
They also sell Basketball sized balls w/ handles on it, and 'normal' but puncture resistant balls - Gizmo would destroy the house if we left them out too long, matter of fact, I think her 'Gotta put this toy away' Box is over flowing - definately no more 'soft' toys for her, even the so call 'Nearly Indestructables' arent :P

Obsessive Compulsive
Just be careful with some of these toys...they can make your dog obsessive compulsive. If i find them starting an obsession with a particular toy I will take that toy away and only give it to them on special ocassions.
Cleo has an issue with her Teaser Ball. She is never without it. When I had her I didn't let her have the ball all the time, only as a special treat. She is kind of obnoxious with it. She shakes it and bangs it into your legs...and it is hard and rough. But my sister lets he have it all the time...so she literally always has that ball in her mouth, she even sleeps with it.
My dogs weren't very interested in it when I was at my sis's for Christmas. Good thing because it is noisey on the floors and i was thiking about getting one, now I won't. Maybe I'll get one for next summer for an outdoor toy.
The other Jolly Balls they tore holes in them in no time and the handles are always the first to go. i don't buy them any more because they can get pieces of plastic off of them.
hes so funny
he carries it everywhere!. When i let him out the other day, he carried it out with him..kicked it around, did his business, Picked up and and walked oveer to me like. "ok mommy im ready togo back in" with it in his mouth... I dont think hes gottem OCD with it.. Hes got this huge stuffed dinosaur, and another huge monkey that he plays with too.. Hell tire himself out with the JB- and when hes on the hardwood floors laying down, cause it makes himso soft hell just grab his monkey and strat sucking on that thing... until, of coarse he gets a big burst of energy, then were back to the jolly ball!. I think we have the medium one, I would LOVE to see how he does with the large one! lol;
