I would like opinions on giving bullies Prozac for aggression issues (not towards people). pros/cons, personal experiences, how long it takes to work, etc

for dogs and will of course have side effects that probably will be very individual for each dog. With our breeds breathing issues there would always be a concern using such a drug IMO. The article says it is for anxiety. Not sure if the dog you are considering using it on is just dog aggressive or has anxiety. Those are 2 totally different temperment issues.
I personally would only use this as a very last resort, prior to euthanasia, after you have exhausted all other options like behaviorists, trainers, rehoming, rule out health issues, etc.

I've known several owners that have used it for their dogs with varying results. Some used it short term while working on behavior modification, others for the lifetime of the dog.
Has your vet recommended it? Dr. Karen Overall is very well known for her studies in the use of drugs to treat aggression and fear issues. She has published several papers and books, some for pet owners, might be helpful to you.

I guess I was reading that the new product is a canine version. Were they prescribing human prozac before. Thankfully I have never had to deal with such issues.

I haven't had to give it to any of my dogs. But, it does have pretty significant positive results and when an owner is at a loss for options, it can be a life saver.
me too
I would like the answer to this one too.
Seems it is very new on the market

Dr Dodman from Tufts in Mass. also has written
about the use of Prozac. I think if you just google Karen Overall or Nicholas Dodman, you will find information to help you.
Good luck. The use of medications like Prozac is pretty serious, you really should discuss this with your vet.
