If you read Judy's reply to my post about my friends who live 3 hours away from Columbia Falls...she says this lady is willing to drive 8 hours to meet someone. While I do think this is sketchy, an 8 hour drive from where she is essentially takes her 1 hour outside of Seattle.
I don't know where you're located in Washington, but I wonder if the statement that a for real breeder and member of the BCA would be willing to meet her and inspect the puppies and take them (for free, rescue doesn't buy puppies) would get a reaction out of the lady Judy is talking to...?

with this "breeder" i am stuck becasue she says only alsaka airlines fly out near her???? and its about 500$ to get them to me.....frustrating to say the least....when your 1,0000 miles away with no one to talk to that you can believe its frustarting...their are three of us from the sb forum trying to figure something out.....i just need some eyes to trust to say yes she is right...or no you can do this.....

that was scamming. She wants you to pay for the flight and fly a puppy in cargo when it is freezing cold. Ask if you can fly to pick up the puppy...see what she says. It is too much of a coincidence. There can't be that many SB puppies on Montana at the same time. Flight stats for Columbia Falls, MT - did you know?

the scam comes from one owner using the sb she got to get money.....nice...but we have a rescue contact and these pups are their.....i will only pay for the flight..no money in their hands

Judy, if this is for real I have friends who live about 3 hours away from this "breeder." I agree with Amy, tell her you've got people who will come pick them up in person.
If she's for real we can get a "bully train" in motion once my friends have the puppies.

she stated she would drive 8 hrs top....to a determined stop....what do you think....i could raise some money..to pay for gas???? the pups are 8wks and 12 wks old......

Spokane VS Missoula
First thing, Spokane is a big city (by Northwest US standards) with a big airport...so I'm confused why she will only ship them on Frontier Airlines FROM Glacier's Airport. Spokane will be serviced by all major airlines, so this does not make any sense to me.
Missoula is about 2 hours away from Columbia Falls (I thought Columbia Falls was further north when I said 3 hours). Spokane is nearly 5 hours away from Columbia Falls.
Are you 100% certain this lady is for real? I'm skeptical that she wants money to give up her puppies to rescue. It's been my experience that when "breeders" surrender dogs to rescue they don't expect any money (and usually give money TO rescue to help cover expenses). Maybe I'm naive, but this whole situation is sending up a bunch of red flags for me.
Additionally...I'll need some time to get in touch with my friends. Since it's so close to the holidays I'm not sure what their plans are (if they're traveling to see their families or staying in Montana) plus I'm not sure what their work schedules are right now. I'll send them an email tonight (I don't have that info on my work email) and I'll let you know what they say. Jeremy is from Ohio, so we might be lucky enough to catch them on the year the plan to go back to his parent's house...which would bring them by KC and I could meet them somewhere to pick up the pups and get them moving in your direction if this is actually for real and this lady isn't trying to scam you out of money.
Have you asked Deb to contact the breeders she knows in Montana to see if they can get the situation sorted out (or at least determine if this is for real)? I think they might be the best resources we have at this point. My friends, while good people, know nothing about bulldogs...so they wouldn't be able to help determine if the pups have issues (or not). Also...I don't know where Deb is located in Washington, but if this lady is willing to drive 8 hours to meet someone to drop off the puppies surely that's in a range where she could meet Deb somewhere (Seattle is 9 hours away from Columbia Falls, so that covers ALL of Washington in the 8 hour drive).

or i have excellant transport help///////its for real this person wont pay for a flight,crate,or health cert, no recues in the area will take them..have some from her already......i guess have your people say the place the time the day...then i will give that info to her..alaska airlines...only fly to logan in boston mass.....
most honest breeders who have medical dogs do just give them up....but then up have the puppy millers.....she has one litter down...two bitches bred..and a rare blk bulldog she cant wait to start studding out!!!!!!!
and we want to know why our wonderful bulls are in trouble...well here is an excellant example.....

If she's willing to bring the pups to Bozeman I might be able to get them on a private flight from Bozeman back to the Boston area.
BUT - I need to know for sure that this is for real and she's not a crack pot before I make any promises because I'd be putting myself on the line to ask someone a big favor.
Basically I'd be asking either my boss or one of his friends to bring the pups back with them on one of their private planes. They are all going out there for Christmas holidays so someone might be willing to bring them back with them on or around end of Decemeber. They all travel with their dogs all the time and since it's their planes they are allowed to fly with them in the cabin so they're always comfy and warm just like the humans.
Anyway, if you can confirm she's for real and she'd be willing to bring them to Bozeman (which looks like it's about a 6 hour drive - 315 miles or so from Columbia Falls) then I will see if I can get something arranged. Also, there's no guarantee that they'd be willing to do it, but I would be willing to try if it turns out she's on the level.
Missoula to Bozeman is 203 miles
Surely if this breeder is serious, she would be willing to go that far?

She is up in the Glacier Park region. Too bad my ex sister-in-law is the devil and we don't speak to each other, she lives right there in the Big Fork area, just a few miles south of Columbia Falls. And...she does all sorts of dog rescue stuff. But I can't contact her. I will ask my brother if he knows anyone else up there that could help. If this is for real, I will move Heaven and Earth to help Judy get those two pups.

spina bifida puppies never really get a chance to get adopted,,,,,many rescues will not take them becasue their so hard to place.....and one of these sb has a twisted spinal cord and may not be able to walk by the time its a year.....so thank you...it means alot to me..all the wonderful help...and good thoughts........
