Ok, Daddy took Kippah in yesterday because she was still piddling little tiny puddles on the floor in the afternoons. I thought she has a UTI Sunday am, and thought it had already cleared up, but the piddles started up again.
She would not help us with the urine sample. But the doctor said her bladder is a little thick, but not full at all, which is a good thing. Dr said it would feel full if there was a UTI, she would not be able to empty it all the way because of inflammation.
He is suspecting this is a yeast issue. He even said he would not be surprised if with in the year he would be suggesting a 'butt lift' surgery to help open up that canal so yeast can not hide out. NO WAY....I highly doubt it is going to get that bad.
So we are going to be WAY more diligent on wiping, he suggested a water and white vinegar solution. We have not been wiping every time, looks like we will be doing that now.
As far as my doctor, he has not even made the arrangements for the PET scan, so I guess he is not that worried.....so I am going to not be that worried either, and just assume he is being cautious since I have had cancer in the past. Poor timing it was though, yesterday was the 35th anniversary of my mothers death, of cancer. And she died at 46, which is my age too.......stupid how I let numbers freak me out like that. BUT nothing to worry about since I have been given NO diagnoses to worry about, right?
QUESTION: Tell me about various treatments/prevention for yeast:
She is on NuVet supplements, and of course grain free food. We have had 3 foods in the last month, and hoping we have found the right one for her, this current food is AvoDerm, 24% protien....but with the added healthy fat of avacado. (will continue to watch weight, she lost and then went back to original weight in last 4 weeks)
Should I give her a weekly ACV and Peroxide water foot soak?
Should I have some special priobotics? in pill form or a yougurt?
Help please and thank you!

one more thing
He did give her a 7 day antibiotic, which confused me quite a bit and I have a call to him to ask him about it. Paul said it was for precautionary measures just in case she was on the verge of a UTI and it was not yeast, or not just yeast. BUT if on antibiotics wont she have even more yeast buggies since it kills off the good bugs? NOW WHAT do I do?

Chester has itchy feet he chews on so out vet...
suggested to bathe them in solution 50/50 vinegar and water. I put the solution in a small bucket, my husband lifts him, i dunk his feet, then let them dry a bit and put some Resicort (prescription ) on them. it is helping big time.
Hope your baby can get some relief for suggestions you can get from here or others or your ver.
Smooches.
we had uti issues for a while
and I think it was due in part to a high protein kibble that we were feeding and my husbands non-understanding about cleaning a female yamyam. the antibiotics made it go aways and we switched kibbles. We give a cranberry supplement and a thourough bath everytime we suspect it may be coming back. My husband use to use our baby wipes that we use for her booty everytime after pooping, until I caught him one day, and after that I knew it was because of him and his rough, wrong direction wiping! ladies, need to wipe front to back in order to not push the bacteria near the sensitive areas, right? also, his overuse of the wipes, although hypoallergenic, still they have soap and chemicals in them that should not be left on the yamyam. So now, he knows, and we only use a warm wash cloth, only baby soap if its really yucky down there, but thorough rinsing and drying of her monkey. we usually only do once a week, so we dont over irritate too. I think the key to getting rid of yeast is killing it first, then keeping it dry so it can go back to its normal balance.
