poor abused Diesel had forfitted his crate to my son's lab Ally when she came to live with us, Diesel is the only one that can be completely trusted to be left alone in the house without doing anything naughty or have any accidents ... each time I have to leave them home lil'Diesel would run to the crates to try to be the first one in I guess he thought if he got there first he wouldn't be left loose in the house LOL ... well my mom (his Grammy) gave me money and said to buy the poor baby his very own crate! Here is his reaction:
no matter which side of the crate Molly went to he wouldn't let her get in it LOL
As you can see by the smile on his face, he loves his new crate!!! such a spoiled boy :-)

He wanted his own space like everyone else!!!

what size crate is that?
I leave Sebastian out too while the other two are crated together, but would like to get rid of the one big crate for three smaller ones.

crate size...
for both my bulldogs I have the 30"L x 19"W x 21"H crates ... I had rescued a bulldog years ago and he was huge (like 90lbs) so had to get him the next size up

thank you.

last question, I promise...
how big is Diesel?
Kim, Remy Le Beau, Lord Sebastian, and Sir Oliver
please don't let that be the last question *puppy dawg eyes*
Diesel is really small he is about 40lbs (he was the runt of the litter) but Molly is about 47lbs and that size crate fits her perfect ... when I was babysitting for the kennels I got them from I had one of her bigger males he probably is around 60 or 65lbs and he goes in it and sleeps but for more comfort I might go the next size up just to have a little more room to relax
Leesa, Diesel & Molly
okay, thanks...
Sebastian is 42 pounds but Remy and Oliver are around 62 pounds. I only want them to be able to go in, turn around and lay down in it, but I really need to get them their own and not have them sharing.

more crate info...
I looked at the crates for my bulldogs I have the 30"L x 19"W x 21"H it fits them perfect comfortable but not too big, my bigger crate is 36"L x 23"W x 25"H (our 67lb lab goes in that one) I use to use the bigger crate with Diesel he wouldn't potty in his crate even with extra room but just as a size thing I can let both my bulldogs even tho they are on the smaller size, they can both comfortably sleep in the bigger crate. Also I like the 2 door crates just for ease of moving them around in the room I can put them 2 ways but if you just plan to put them in one spot and not move them the 1 door crates are less expensive. you can get them at Petco they ship fast and if you order over $49.00 shipping is free .... Diesel's new crate is the Midwest iCrate 2door and it was $46.99 --- I picked the Midwest because I didn't want 2 door locks to have to mess with

thanks...
right now my crate is the two door one. I'm not sure how big it is, I bought it at a yard sale but it fits both 60+ pound bullies with a "little" room to spare. It's just so big and takes up so much room. Now I know that with three crates I still won't have the room but I can put one in the living room and the other two in the family room. Thank you so much for all your information, I knew I wanted to get smaller crates, but weren't sure of the size and with Sebastian being so small ike Diesel, seeing the pictures really gave me perspective. I think I will get the other heathens the next size up because Remy is only 10.5 months old and bigger than Oliver who is 18.5 months old.Sebastian is 18.5 months too, but I know he's not getting any bigger because of his pulmonic stenosis and even though Remy has the same condition (less severe), he's huge and still growing!!

:) you're welcome
I think the 3 crates are the way to go ... as far as space goes having the smaller ones you will be able to move them around like you said and not have just 1 huge crate thats so overwhelming
