He makes fun of me but he is the worst. Even during last night's show he kept saying "awwww, let him in bed!", "awww, put down that baby gate for goodness sake. Look at that face!", "aww listen to him crying!".
You can guess who was the disciplinarian in our family. :)

and I say that lovingly, are exactly why I advise all bulldog puppy buyers to teach their puppies to sleep in a crate out of the bedroom. Because they will all do this, the whining and carrying on. I have never with all the breeds of dogs I have lived with though my life, ever had a breed that becomes so obsessed with being next to their human. That is what makes this breed so enduring...but if you allow them to they will be obstinent and act just like Beefy. Mine at times do the same stuff. We all know that arfing, gurgling, poor me whine and look.
And do you think they are really dumb? Did you see how quickly Beefy learned to lead and stop his chirping. They just are masters at be our masters :)

LOL! And Sophie when I won't let her on my lap in the truck!
She will lean into my shoulder until she "accidentally" falls over onto my lap. But if I don't let her, she evokes the Ewok.
