Don't get me wrong I love my puppy, but how do I get him to stop digging in the woodchips outside. It is driving me nuts. Oh and his new game to play is if I leave the bedroom door open, he goes in the room and slams (loudly by the way) the door shut, and sits there and barks and attacks it so he can get out so he can go back in and do it all over again. This is so frustrating while I am trying to study for midterms. UGGGGGG
That is cute
What will he come up with next. You gotta love this. Puppy days enjoy them.
Karonelaine
He's obviously not Prof. WInston :)
And is saying *PLAY WITH ME ! ! ! * Put away those books, and *PLAY WITH ME ! ! !* Slamming the door, that's too cute.
Now... the wood chips... a different story - we got paronoid cause Gizmo was enjoying the chips a little too much and we were worried about her ingesting them. So we pulled up all the chips and put down river rock... 1 - 3 inch diameters river Rocks... so what does she do? she picks up the rocks from the left side of the patio, and moves them to the right side of the patio - really odd behavior with her obsession with the rocks.
If ya want bring him on over to Delaware :) We'll let Gizmo teachem the ropes :)
Last steps taken May 26, 2014 -- Been rolling along ever since . . . .
Jax too
Ozzy couldn't care less about them--but Jax has dug up some bulbs while digging in the chips. We now have him confined to the porch unless we are playing in the backyard.
*giggling*...k that is
*giggling*...k that is cute!!! lol
I would stuff a few kongs and a kong wobbler or something
similar where he has to work at it to get his treats. I usually freeze stuff in the kongs. He is bored and the only cure is finding things to keep his mind busy. Gotta love the creativity of puppies to entertain themselves.
Good luck on your mid-terms.....
Thanks, I need all the luck I
Thanks, I need all the luck I can get. With taking 4 classes comes 4 midterms and work still. Oh and don't forget keeping Brewer busy. I will be happy come tomorrow night because of sring break. No plans but working, but it means no homework, thank god.
LOL, oh we know what you mean! Hubby and I are constantly
amazed and entertained by Meaty and Sophie's antics like that!!! good luck on your exams! Whew, I don't miss those days!
Come to think of it, we didn't have any pets when I went back to school 4 years ago, I probably would've had to go to
the library!!! too much ador-a-bull ness to distract me!!!
Our sweet Archimedes "MEATY" Bones (or as we say...boneSHHH!) ---born 11/28/08---- our first bullllyyyy!!!
And SOPHIE Bubbles *Rapscallion* (LOL!) ---born 4/3/11----our second bulllllyyyy!!!!
Doors
My male Boston does the same thing in the bathroom, he closes it....gets into the bathroom garbage for awhile, then barks to be let out..........THEN he is just amazed that I would blame ONLY him for the mess on the floor.
Kippah's new trick is when I am in the swivel recliner, with the feet down,She stands on one side of my feet and pushes my feet as she walks, turning the chair all the way to one side till it hits the table. THen she moves under the table, and pushes my foot till the chair turns to the other side till it hits the wall. THEN she cant get between my foot and the wall unless I move my feet. She she slaps them with her paws until I move them enough for her to get on the other side to push me the other way again! Good thing there are stoppers or she would just spin me around till I barf from dizziness!
Kongs are a great idea to keep her busy. Remember you can put those in the dishwasher to make sure they dont get icky germs. I think I am going to do a load this weekend of toys and bowls and such and try the least favorite Jolly Ball in the dishwasher.....if it turns out OK I will put the rest in. RIght now we just do occational bath tub soaks in bleach water
