cooling vest???
Submitted by Katie and Tucker on June 11, 2012 - 8:50pmIs there such a thing as a cooling vest for dogs?? I know the cooling pads/mats were mentioned before and I thought someone had said somthing about a vest. If you use or have one maybe you can post some info. Thanks!

Yes there are
we using cool coats at the dog shows, before classes if it's hot. The cooling vets are a little different.
My Sergeant Major has one
It is by "Hyperkewl". It works buy wetting it and evaporation keeps it cool for up to 5 hours. There are some out there that use ice packs, but I didn't like that Idea. Bottom line is we like ours

We have one for Beatrix from Ruff Wear, which works great. You soak it down in cool water, and it keeps her much more comfortable for several hours.

... find a store here in Toronto that sells them. I hate buying things on line. I guess i'm picky when it comes to spending money on my boy!
