For a Bully with the runs - how much pumkin do you give them?

Last week my 11 yr old boxer had the runs, now this week Rocco has them. I took stool sample to vet on Boxer, but they said just to give him Rice & Chicken for a couple days, his went away now I'm cleaning messes again? Anyone have any ideas? So far my Jack Russell is fine.

Plus, you can add about a tablespoon of pumpkin per meal. Hope doggy No.3 doesn't follow suit....

both eating the ornamental grass i put in this year but I looked it up and it's not toxic, plus I got it from my aunt who has 4 dogs so I figured she would never get anything that would harm her dogs!
