Just wanted to share a video that I made last night of Vern and my crazy foster begging for cheese...she sneezes when begging and it is so very silly!!!!!
Submitted by Vern-Rory-Teresa on March 15, 2012 - 2:40pm.
Yep she does....she gets all wiggly and sneezes. When I'm having a snack in my chair, she sneezes all over me...it's totally ridiculous and kinda gross, but oh well. It's like she's just so excited that she can't contain it!

Rick - you are nothing but trouble!!! Yes, I call her the foster on purpose....at home she's Angie, but when I tell stories I say "the foster".
I am attached to this little bugger, I mean that's just inevitable....unless you are meaner than the grinch, how can you not love these guys???
She has a home and expectant adoptive parents....they live in Canada and will be making the trek here next Tuesday - and yes, I will cry like a baby. But, I've never felt like she was mine - she belonged to someone else, even before I knew who they were. I send them an email with a pic or story almost every night to keep them in touch and help them start to love her as much as I (and Vern) do.
The positive thing that I tell myself is that when she leaves, there will be another bulldog coming into our house - and new stories and adventures. Plus, I suspect I'm making some new friends - I think I've talked w/the adoptive mom more than my actual mom in the last month, lol.

What an awesome thing you've done for this girl. We are planing on fostering bullies too once we move to a bigger place. My girlfriend thinks that we are going to end up keeping them all but I told her the same thing, that finding one a new home means being able to take in another foster from a bad situation and finding it a new home too. Can't wait to be able to do that. Must have been a great experience for you and Vern. He was so patient in that video! Again, thanks so much for taking care of Angie. Cant wait to see pictures of your next foster.

Vern has been fabulous - they even snuggle together in the same doggie bed at night. It has been a good experience for him to get comfortable w/another dog.
Thanks :) It's as much for me as it is for her, truthfully.
Me? *blink* cause trouble? *bats his eyes* You are doing a WONDERFUL Job :) and she has a home all lined up and ready to go to - WOW a success story - nope.. not "future foster failure" there :) :) :)
:) :) :)

And Rick causing trouble??? REALLY....and I thought I was the only one who thought that!
I guess excitement that causes sneezing is FAR better than submissive peeing...Long ago when the kids were little I had a male weiner dog. He was a Skinney little punk, and we called him Macho Man. When we would sing him the song "Macho Macho Man.......He wants to be a Macho man" (80's?) He would get all excited flip on his back, and pee into his face! YEAH.....he was not a favorite with me LOL
Well actually Im not a ditz at all, but I feel like it right now. I have seen the term "foster Failure" several times, and always thought of it being the Foster parent tried to make a good temporary home and THAT didnt even work out.......NOW I get it....sheesh Foster Failure....as in not a foster any longer..sheesh, Think I need another coffee
Foster Failure means, with all the good intentions of the world, you were 'just going to foster' this pup. and WHOOPS guess what? The pup is now part of your family and isnt leaving you :) hence you 'failed at fostering' bwhahahahahaha :) (but the long and short is, the puppy has a PERMINATE loving home )

Thanks Deb! The foster's story is kinda sketchy. The man who owned her & turned her over to our rescue group had only had her for 2 months. He said he didn't have time for her and she didn't get along with his little kid.
He got her from her previous owner that this man said owed him some money and paid his debt by giving him the dog!!!!! Craziness. She was fixed so, it wasn't with the intention of having pups....just crazy.
Yes, her new owners are lucky. They just recently lost their female bullie, she wasn't sick, died spontaneously while on a walk and their male has been very sad without his sister. This foster is going to a very loving home :)
Sneezes for Cheeses :) LOL that's GREAT !
LOL does she always Sneeze when she's begging like that?
