Hi! I just stumbled on this bulldog puppy theft report in my local paper. Totally shocking. You can get the full story on the Stamford advocate website.
While the crime is shocking, the employees lack of good sense was even more unbelievable. I am hoping the puppy gets returned and the people get caught but the employees need to go as well.

That is the sorriest customer service I have ever seen. A payin customer is always first not the phone. No wonder they did what they did. I hope they get him back. I hate a theft. But those people could walk off with the puppy and anything else because she could careless if they were there.
Good thing they had a camera
I hope they catch the guy and that the I hope the puppy gets a good home. I have no sympathy for the pet store.
I would fire the employees - they are totally useless!

That just happened at a store here in Columbus, but no camera.
The news said the pet was microchipped, which I'm afraid will cause the thief to avoid taking it to a vet.
I agree they won't have s job.
