bulldog on NY INK!!, sad story but happy in the end!.
Submitted by nicoleandherbabes on February 9, 2012 - 11:01pmso im a tattoo junky, an i watch NY INK everyweek!! tonight was an insane night!.. why because #1- my older brother is in a band and one of his fan got a tattoo of one of his songs and they did a whole 2 mins on it so awesome!. and reason #2- becuase what we all love our little bullys were on!
over the summer here in NY, they found a whole kinnels worth of bulldogs that were used for fighting and breeding. it was really sad, it mad the papers and the TV, there was this one dog bubba that was basically left for dead, and was brought back to health and was adopted, but they really didnt give out the information to who it was BUT
the woman who adopted him was on the show tonight and got this awesome tattoo of him on her back!.they showed a picture of him and he looks great!, his one eye was a little beat up and scarred but she sai hes doing fantastic and loves him with all of her heart, she doesnt know how she went threw life without having this sweet calm little boy in her heart!. she later found out that she had cancer and bubba stayed by her side the whole time and was there for her 100% along with her daughter and husband!. such an awesome story!!... everyone give your bullies little tonight before bed!! xoxoxox

I don't do the show but then I really don't watch t.v much. Maybe 2 hrs a month total. So I miss it. That would of been something to watch. Are you going to get one of Dozer. My son had my name on him along with mom. I will never forget this. I use to tell him why my name I am not going any where. Maybe he knew he would want to see it in heaven with him.

Butch, who was shown on NY INK last night is from Louisiana,
not New York. He was confiscated in 2007 from a Sheriff Deputy that was breeding Mastiffs, Pitbulls, and Bulldogs allegedly to make bigger, stronger fighting dogs. The Mastiffs and the Pit Bulls could not be saved. Six of the Bulldog mixes were saved. I was contacted to rescue them and with the help of another Bulldog rescuer in DC, we were able to find rescues to take them. We called them the LA 6. If you go to the American Bulldog Rescue facebook page, you can also see pictures of other LA 6 babies that I took when I went to see them to get pictures of them to send to rescues across the country. It is so awesome that Butch's Mom was picked to be featured on NY INK and bring awareness to the plight of some of these dogs and rescue! :) You can also tell how much she loves Butch!
