Bulldog and new baby
Submitted by angusboy on October 17, 2012 - 7:21pmOur son was born on July 29th, our first born, Angus is a 4 year old bulldog. Angus has been very sweet to our new baby, sometimes he doesn't bother with him at all (angus sleeps most of the time lol). About a month and a half ago we moved the baby from the bassinet to his crib. Angus's bed is next to our bed. But when we moved the baby to the crib, Angus started sleeping in the living room on the couch. If we get up for any reason, he's usually awake and staring at the front door, or he's wandering around the house. I'm not sure if he's depressed about not being the center of our universe or if he's being protective. Anyone have similar experiences with their bulldogs?

i he is being protecitve, making sure all is safe and good, sweet baby.... believe all is normal and trust your dog
Angus needs
You and baby time. I did it with all my dogs and my Three Babies. Oh mommy should be there.
