Beatrix's family

So, first of all, you all know Beatrix. (Or do you? It's been a while since I posted, and there are new people!)

This is Mike and I, Beatrix's people. (This was on Halloween. We had a Muppets-as-people themed party. Mike was Sam the Eagle, and I was Red Fraggle.)

And, of course, Beatrix's cats.

And Molly, who isn't so much Beatrix's cat, because she's kind of afraid of her. Molly lives in the kitchen, and whenever Beatrix comes in she hides behind the sideboard. She's been with us about 8 months now, and is gradually getting braver, so I have hopes for her, though.

(Yeah. We have a lot of orange cats. It's dangerously close to a running joke at this point.)

I love all of the kitties too! If it were up to me, I'd have more cats but my husband and our kitty say "no way!". Out of curiosity, did you have a mix of male and female cats?

Yup -- we have two boys (Riley and Panther, who are also the two oldest) and two girls (Pippen and Molly).

At four cats, I do worry that we're a little in danger of becoming crazy cat people, I must confess.....

Crazy cat people, crazy bulldog people...its all the same! LOL My cat is a 16 1/2 yr old neutered male and my daughter really wants another kitty. Doofus has spent most of his life with another male cat and they got along great. But Doofus is very much the dominant cat and I'm not sure how he'll do. He's not too happy with the bulldog but he's ignoring him for the most part. I'm still on the fence.
