he's at the vet. He had one in the car on the way over and one when we got to the clinic. He was drooling and throwing up so I raced him to the vet....
*thinking outloud* Seemingly healthy dog, all of a sudden starts to have seizures - drooling. Did he by chance get into something she shouldnt of? cleaning solution? yard chemicals? what's changed in the last 24 hours? - any toys/stuff missing (ingestion)
Dang it Baxter - you are worrying us ! ! ! ! ! !
Mommy / Treedmill guy please keep us updated !

there was a fragment of an old nylabone key in it which was a toy we got rid of a couple months ago. I fed him about 45 min later. He went outside, pooped. Brought him back in, he began drooling, back leg muscles were twitchy, called the vet, threw him in the car. He had a major seizure, flailing, pooping, foaming at the mouth in the car then when they took him back at the vet he had another.

Baxter's mom here. I talked to the vet tech. No more seizures, he's resting comfortably, doing okay. They're still waiting on test results. Not sure what caused the seizures yet. Thank you all for all your prayers, thoughts, and good vibes. They mean a lot! Hopefully we'll be able to bring the patient home today. It all happened so fast, quite the whirlwind of events, and so frightening.

Thanks for the update Karen, I have been thinking about you guys all day.
Any thoughts on what could have caused this? Seems suspicious he threw up and then seizured afterwards. Maybe oxygen deprivation as he vomited? Just wondering if they have any reasons yet...

Really thinking about your special boy. I'll check in again later to see if there's any news. Hang in there, mom!!
It may be nothing. I had a dog with epilepsey.
If that's what it is, there isn't much to worry about. You have to give him some pills, and that's about it.
