Audrey's cooling vest

I FINALLY made it! I may have to add an extra piece to the end to get it to curve around her ribcage better, and I am taking off the buckle. I was originally going to make it like a harness she can be walked in, but she is 3 1/2 years old and RARELY wears a harness, but she goes outside to play everyday, so I decided to just make it a cooling vest.

The cooling packs are HTFX cooling technology http://htfx-inc.com/index.shtml

I just bought 2 of the vest packs plus one collar that I took apart. The collar pack is what's on her stomach.

I feel bad for Audrey stuck inside because of the heat. Even if this vest gives her 15 more minutes, I'll be happy.

This company will custom cut down a vest to better fit a bulldog for an extra fee.

that was a lot of tedious nit-picky fitting. I had to walk away from it a few times because it was getting frustrating.

I didn't get a good picture of the gorgeous ribbon on the top, the camera washes out the colors and doesn't show the metallic threads well. It is really pretty though
