I'll post updates in a few days. She is still on the couch and won't budge, even for food, water, treats. But, she's been for walks, even in the very cold temps and the newly fallen 9.5 inches of snow....

thanks for sharing---so interesting! I can NOT even
begin to imagine Meaty or Sophie being still for 8 minutes for the MRI----hee hee---maybe with a better
trainer than me and/or my hubby, (we both admit, we are NOT the best trainers!!!)..... it could happen! :-)
I thought it interesting that they said they CAN understand language---I always read that they don't UNDERSTAND,
spoken language, but they DEFINITELY respond to it, mainly by the way they interpret our emotions behind the words. '
That has always confused me, because they DO learn repetitive words such as SIT, STAY, their names, etc. I
dunno---it's all fascinating! Hubbs and I can be having an in-depth conversation about Meaty's next vet visit or
other general things going on with him, and he listens and watches as if he's HUMAN, and it amazes us! We know
that HE knows we're talking about him---but, how much of it does he understand? Sooo interesting! (P.S. we
don't notice this trait at all in Sophie...)
Our sweet Archimedes "MEATY" Bones (or as we say...boneSHHH!) ---born 11/28/08---- our first bullllyyyy!!!
And SOPHIE Bubbles *Rapscallion* (LOL!) ---born 4/3/11----our second bulllllyyyy!!!!
ery cool!
