Does this happen in any other homes?! Ha!

Sometimes I'll sit on my deck in the sun, when Zimmer gets hot he goes in. Then sits staring out the door watching me. Silly bullies!!

Winston...he's smart to supervise from inside!! :-) unfortunately, Meaty and Sophie LOVE to
be outside, even when it's wayyy too warm. I have to coax them inside with treats! I am SO
sad for them---they wanna be outside, but it's already in the 80's and reached 90 the other day,
sooo, here's Mommy with her clicker and bag of treats to get them inside!!

Last steps taken May 26, 2014 -- Been rolling along ever since . . . .
A, yup! All the time! We don't have floor vents here...
But under our ceiling vents is a favorite place to hang out! We have all tile floors, so the house stays pretty cool anyways, but the dogs always park themselves under the ceiling vents:-)

Tucker does this when he's really hot. Our vent is right by the sliding doors like in your pic. When he lays down on it of course it covers the whole vent so then there's no AC in the kitchen!
