But we got a kick out of seeing his family tree. The names of his great-grandparents are a trip. I was surprised to see all the different color coats past generations had and Chef D came out all white, except for his eye patch.

pay the small fee and take the time to register him. It is your proof of ownership. It also helps with the number count on the breed registration and it helps keep AKC in business. There are our breeds best friend. I could think of more reasons but ... I have to get to the vets and work.
We were given all of her documentation when we rescued her, I guess we should of sent it in. *Feeling Guilty that Kippah has more Bling than Gizmo!* LOL

We sent Kippahs in last month. We dont plan on showing her.....I am sure she is not show quality. But we have always registered our pets because it is used kinda like a census from what I understood when we raised Persians.
So now we have her Microchip tag, Her rabies tag, her AKC tag, and a Pethub "Scan Me" tag.....she has some crazy bling if we were to put in all on the harness! LOL

We did with Kilmore and Winnie for family tree history. Since we just got the boys neutered we should be getting our paperwork from the breeder this week. They obviously won't be breeding or showing, but it was nice to have. You might have some family bloodline in BDW. :)
Not sure the benefit

Chef D's Mug Shot
Depends
What are the limitations to the agreement with the breeder?
If ya want to show him, he has to be AKC reg.
But if the contract with the breeder says you promise to neuter, then no show.
Maybe others will know more.

Mean people still suck
