I keep looking around for bulldog clubs - and I'm really not having any luck -
Bullynet lists a few however
Bulldog Club of Philadelphia - Website is SOOO Far out of date (2003 'all rights reserved' at bottom) 2008 on the front page - and it seems like No activity on that site in 3 years :/
Bulldog Club of New Jersey - Website tough to follow -
Or is it I'm asking the wrong question? Maybe its more of an Owner group we want to be involved in, it seems from what I can tell the 'BCA' is for Breeders and experts -
Is there anything for us? Joe Average who loves our Pups but have no intentions of Showing or Breeding?
sooo
Are there any members active in any bulldog owner groups? For meet ups and just to see other bullies and their owners?

Have you looked at the BCA website
for the clubs in your area? I'm in Seattle so I can't help you much. But our club has several functions a year for people that do not show. Our club is very active and it just depends on the people that are the officers of the clubs. Also the clubs do have to do some educational stuff or activities outside of their annual show, if I remember right.
BCA is for everyone but to join you do need a current member to sign your application. Usually the breeder of your dog would do this for you. At the minimum I would encourage you to subscribe to the Bulldogger magazine. None members can now get it, in the past you had to be a member. It is mainly full of the top winning dogs and show adds....BUT it also has wonderful articles written by the most knowledgable bulldoggers in our industry.
Here is a list off the top of my head of what our club does every year. This events are also sponsored by our local Bulldog rescue.
March - Bulldog Meet the Breed Booth at the Seattle dog show - Which is a huge spectator event. All members are encouraged to sign up for times and bring their dogs. I meet the Holmgrens (past Seahawk coach) one year at this event. Their family all have bulldogs.
There are several things in the summer as well. A parade I believe in University City (south of Seattle), Puyallup Fair Breed Booth.
We have our specialty show in August.
September or October is our Bullie Fest and burger feed which is usually attended by about 150 bulldogs with their owners. They have games and contests + micro chipping and I'm not sure what else.
October is the Halloween party again with games, costumes, awards.
December is the Christmas Party and elections.
I'm not very active...but these are all very fun events and many if not most of the people in attendance are not breeders/show people.
Yes, I followed BCA sites to 'local' or state Clubs :(
And that is where I was sadly disappointed in the websites and informaton available -
That's why I posted to my favorite bullies :) :) :) :)
We do go to the Heaven Sent Bullyfest in the spring and had a blast, and we were hoping to find more activities along that line through out the year - Sounds like your club is really active - We are hoping to find something, anything here in the Delaware area even 1/2 close to what you describe :)
