Antler Experts -- I have a Question

What sizes do you get?  My dogs can chew nylabones down to nothing, can they do that with Antlers?

Is it worth it to buy the larger ones?  They are still pretty expensive.

6 - 7 inch Giant Premium... $9.25 each (retail $17.69 + tax)
OR  10 - 12 inch Monster Premium... $19.75 each press (retail $38.29 + tax)

I bought mine about 4-5

I bought mine about 4-5 months ago and it is still in pretty good shape, and it is my bulldogs favorite thing in the world he chews on it for quite some time every day. I bought him a size L but he was a puppy when I bought it. I just ordered him another in size XL which says it is for dogs 50-70 lbs. Not sure how those sizes compare to the ones you are looking at. If he is that strong of a chewer bigger may be better in your situation, hopefully that way you wont be replacing it as soon. They are expensive, but totally worth it. If you look around online maybe you could find some for cheaper.

we buy ours at ...

Bonnie's Barkery in Cave creek AZ - if you google them and call in an order, they will ship to you.  I know there are other places on line that have them, I bought mine at Bonnie's and know they are good quality.

The bigger the better :) for powerful chewers

http://antlerchews.com/   <=== small time business man (so it seems) his prices look very very good - I've priced a 'Jumbo'locally for about 3-4 times what he is selling them for.

I got 2 complete Antlers (poor 10 point buck! LOL) that were 'natural sheds'  Gizmo loves her.  The 'root ends' cut in about 8" pieces seem the best for her.

Just do not buy the Split ones - waste of time, messy and dangerous (Becomes sharp)

The Nyla Bones we had gotten were the BIG Knotted ones, and gizmo's still has it :)
