i just received an email from mathilda's foster mom...and it's bad news...*sigh*,

they did some on mathilda w/ a behavioralist and it was recommended

that she should NOT be around children under 10...and there is no other option...

k i found this out an hour ago-it's still pretty fresh and i am pretty upset over not beimore testing ng

able to get her...but being ever the eternal optimist i always believe that there is a resaon

for everything...and i know there is one out there for me...i just can't smile about it yet...

so...thnq all for being w/me on my lil unsuccessful journey-at least this one anyway,but i

haven't lost hope...and most importantly i know she's in a very happy home right now

and even feel better that they won't just give her to anyone...it's actually very comforting!!!

They know the kids are your niece and nephew, right. That they won't be around her all the time? I guess they know best. I'm really bummed for you.

Check your e-mail, I'm going to send you a link for a rescue site my sis sent me last week - devoted to "flat faced dogs" (ha!). It's in Toronto, but maybe there's a chance they'll consider applications from Montreal. There are some very beautiful bullies... not to mention a bunch of pugs, etc. I'm keeping it in my "maybe" pile for later, when I'm ready.

Thank goodness you found that out though.

While heartbreaking, it is better to have found out before rather than after. I am so sorry though Pegsy, but if you look, there are tons of bullies out there in rescues right now that absolutely need YOU.

Boo. Well thats a very good attitude to take and it is comforting to know that Mathilda will be given the best possible opportunity to thrive. I guess it is also good that you are now more familiar with the process. Hoping a new opportunity shows itself soon!

There is one that needs you more. And he/she is looking for you right now. Be patient my friend, they will appear when they and you are ready. Then you will know that all the hearbreak up til now has been worth it.

Do not fret as that day will come and when he/she finds you, you will be together like it was meant to be.
