abscess
Submitted by Karen on July 2, 2012 - 3:46pmMy little guy has an abscess on the top of his tail. I just noticed it this morning. I think it is from a deer fly bite. I am bathing it with epsom salts. Am I doing the right thing. Thanks

That should work
I would do a warm compress 3 x a day for about 5 minutes. Is it draining? I like putting the damp cloth in the microwave for a few seconds to get hot. But make sure you can hold it in your hand before you put it on him as it can get very hot.
