What type of food/water bowls are you using?

Stainless steel bowls are the best and plastic or ceramic bowls can cause pimple like sores. You can apply witch hazel 2-3 times a day until the sores have healed.

We battled with them too

Pustules, or painful zits as my vet would call them....ah, yes.  We struggled through them for months.  We now wash Bentley's face every day and keep it really drive after he drinks.  Some rubber toys can also be the culprit or if toys get really soggy from drool.

We would dab witchhazel, also tried alcohol free stridex pads, hibiclens soap and when they would get bad, we had to hold a warm damp cloth until it would pop.  Good luck, I know it's a nightmare!

Rubber Balls was our problem

Gizmo had a big hard rubber ball that she would push around the patio and yard until we took it away from her. The Friction of the ball and her chin, gave her the worse case of 'acne'  it was just sore from the ball.  We took away her favorite toy, and it cleared up. We now use that toy very sparingly. :)

Adolescent Acne

it is typicale and with time will go away.  You can just keep it as clean and dry as possible. Any astrigent will work...but stuff like Stridex pads stings because of the alcohol content.  I have used with success Genticin Spray and also a TeaTree Oil wound spray...I can't remember the name of.  I just spray on a cosmetic pad and hold or lighly wipe the chin.
